Your work profile
As a Senior Manager in our BPS Tax team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You will:
Business Development:
- Lead business development (BD) efforts for the team in the Accounting and Payroll outsourcing, Staff deputation, Tax compliances
- Reach out to Partner groups to canvass the BPS capabilities and solutions offered.
- Lead full life cycle of BD from generating leads, preparing proposals, assemble team, engagement letter and ongoing revenue management.
- Self-driven and support to analyse latest win and proposals in other areas of Deloitte using the salesforce system to check for BPS opportunities.
Accounting and Tax:
- Take ownership of client engagements in respect of their Finance, Accounts and Payroll outsourcing needs, deliver SLAs and KPIs and develop sound business relationships.
- Proficient in GAAP compliance (IndAS, IFRS, US GAAP) and Statutory Reporting (Schedule
III). Knowledge and experience of technology tools such as Thomson Reuters’
ONESOURCE Statutory Reporting or WDesk from Workiva will be an additional advantage.
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing finance & accounting operations through leading software such as Zoho, MS Navision, SAP or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing various tax compliance such as TDS and GST.
- Lead deployment of latest technology solutions relevant to the BPS services and pursue continuous innovation to bring efficiencies in the operations and service offerings.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing appropriate internal controls.
- Industry specific knowledge (Manufacturing, Real Estate, Power, Investment Funds, etc.) will be an additional advantage.
- Ensure three-way link between Partner, Team/peers, and Clients.
- Actively mentor team members to maximize their contribution to achieve required outcomes.
- Help in creating eminence in the market.
Desired qualifications
- CA / MBA / ICWA(CMA) with
- 7-10 years of working experience in a Financial Accounting role in a large organization
- Strong Technical knowledge
- Proficient with technology relevant to the BPS Services

Location and way of working.
- Base location: Mumbai/ Pune / Gurgaon/Kolkata/ Bangalore/ Coimbatore.
- This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.
