About the Function
The Independent Hotels team is a part of the Domestic Hotel Supply Function. This team oversees the supply for independent hotels located across India and currently has contracted with over 70,000 hotels on our platforms.
About the Role
This role plays a critical part in the Key Accounts Management team within the Domestic Hotels Supply Function. As a Key Account Manager, the incumbent will hold end-to-end responsibility for driving growth for assigned key accounts through regular engagement with partners. This involves sharing essential business insights and recommendations with key external stakeholders and ensuring smooth execution of agreed-upon actions by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
What will you be doing:
1. Relationship and Key Account Management:
- As a Key account manager, you will be responsible for connecting and engaging with the āCā level management and the account management team of domestic hotels and driving sustainable performance of the account.
- Collaborating with partners in the portfolio and providing expertise, metrics, analysis, and recommendations based on industry's best practices.
- You will be travelling to different cities to meet relevant decision-makers and spend 50% of your time in the field within the same city.
2. Portfolio Management and Driving Growth for units:
- Reviewing monthly production reports and providing feedback to top producing hotels, planning and executing market visits, reviewing meetings (virtually and in person) to discuss monthly performance, and training partner hotels on our extranet to enable effective usage.
- Building review reports, sharing insights on market with the hotels, comp-set analysis to drive growth for the unit.
- Ensuring adequate inventory availability and price competitiveness throughout the year.
3. Negotiation Skills:
- Networking, initiating deals, negotiating, and closing deals with hotel partners.
- Strategizing to market the hotel in a better way.
- Onboarding hotels for Ad-tech sponsored unit campaigns. Making exclusive deals with hotel partners to ensure a competitive edge for MMT.
Qualification & Experience:
- Post-graduation from a reputed institute with 4 years of experience in sales/ Key Account Management/ portfolio management.
- Experience in handling multiple accounts.
- Expertise in MS Excel and MS Power-point.
