Role: Senior Data Scientist
Job Responsibilities:

EXL provides consulting and analytics support to fortune 500 companies across multiple industry domains. For this role, you will be supporting the data science team of one of our clients in the RMTI Vertical (Retail, Media & Telecom). While working on modern data platforms, you are expected to build predictive models for customer lifetime value, upgrade propensity and other measurements. Some of your responsibilities include –

• Exploratory Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis and visualization to uncover patterns, trends, and insights in the data.
• Feature Engineering: Create and select relevant features to enhance model performance and predictive accuracy.
• Model Development and Evaluation: Build, tune, and assess machine learning models using appropriate algorithms and metrics.
• Deployment and Integration: Deploy models into production environments and integrate them with existing systems for real-time decision-making.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor model performance and update models as necessary to adapt to changes in data or business needs.
• Communication and Collaboration: Present findings and insights to stakeholders, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or) math heavy degrees from top-tier universities with strong record of achievement
• Have a passion for data with exceptional analytical and critical thinking.
• 3+ years of work experience in statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms, with an emphasis on their application in predictive modeling.
• Comfortable with writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval & transformation
• Proficient in Python. Pyspark knowledge would be a plus.
• Prior experience in management consulting and/or analytics-based consulting is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
