Responsibilities includes will Audit Backup Policies and environments to ensure integrity of Backup & Restore activities .Pro-actively determine possible faults by execution of predetermined health and operational checks to provide the highest backup success rate. Participate in recovery activities when required. Analyze and resolve escalated problem with in target timelines. Perform Hardware/Software fault detection and perform coordination and timely follow-up with OEM for issue resolution. Upgrade backup software, apply patches, and ensure physical security of data nstallation, Updating and configuration of Master Media and clients using IBM TSM / Spectrum Protect for Windows servers and Linux servers. Extensively worked on various Backup Integration like Oracle, SQl, VMware .Administering TSM / Spectrum Protect Master and Media servers and Dedup Appliances. Policy creation & scheduling of backups on different clients (Windows, UNIX, Linux etc.) & applications (Oracle, SQL, etc.)Backup & Recovery using IBM TSM / Spectrum Protect for all above OS and applications. Administration and troubleshooting skills on: TSM / Spectrum Protect. Experience in Tape Library management , VTL’s like HP Store once and troubleshooting and firmware upgradation .Backup Schedule Monitoring & Management & Reporting .Maintain and Update compliance documents periodically .Manage data movement within Backup Servers. Participate and Lead in SEV1 incidents and Prepare RCA for SEV1 issues with respect to Backup and perform capacity planning and backup & restore performance tuning.
