| Role • Cloud DB Engineer Responsibilities • Should have proven delivery track record for enterprise level database modernization and migration projects using GCP database services • Should have extensive hands on experience in cloud based database technologies like Cloud DB like GCP Spanner and GCP Cloud SQL Essential Skills • 8+ years of DB knowledge with either one (Oracle/DB2/SQL Server). • Must have experience in GCP database environment • Must have experience with PostgreSQL database • Hands on experience on DB migration from on-premises to GCP cloud and post migration validation. • Hands on experience in high volume data migration from on-premise to GCP cloud databases • Hands on experience on DB replication. • Hands on experience on DB upgrades. • Hands on experience in File stream tables, Cross DB references, Logon triggers in respective DB. • Experience in Functions, Stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions. • DB Performance Tuning, setting up right DB parameters. • Hands on with Extended Stored Procedures, Table partitioning, Indexing etc. • Typed XML and XML indexing and Table Audit. • Knowledge on both RDBMS and NoSQL concepts. • Should have worked on SQL Jobs. • Knowledge on generating and maintaining SQL Packages. • Must be able to understand and handle SQL error Logs. |
