About the Role:
As a Content Marketing Manager at Nxtwave, you will play a critical role in our marketing team by driving our content strategy and managing a dynamic team of content writers. Your primary responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive content calendar, ensuring high-quality content production aligned with SEO standards, and innovating new content initiatives to expand our reach.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Calendar and Daily Topic Allocation:
Research and develop a comprehensive weekly content calendar.
Assign daily topics to content writers, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and outcomes.
Stay updated with industry trends to generate relevant and engaging content ideas.
Team Management and Quality Assurance:
Lead and manage a team of 6-8 Content Writers.
Review and edit articles to ensure they adhere to high-quality standards.
Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, including on-page and technical aspects.
Provide feedback and guidance to improve the team's writing skills and SEO knowledge.
Competitive Keyword Research:
Conduct thorough research on competitors' keywords.
Identify and target potential low-competition keywords to enhance content visibility and reach.
Stay abreast of SEO trends and algorithm changes to continuously refine keyword strategies.
Innovative Content Initiatives:
Develop and implement innovative content strategies to engage and expand our target student audience.
Explore new formats and channels for content delivery.
Collaborate with other departments to create a cohesive and effective content marketing approach.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
Proven experience in content marketing, SEO, and team management.
Strong editorial skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Familiarity with content management systems like Wordpress, Webflow and SEO tools.
